How to Apply: Your Path to Volunteering in Peru

Applying for an international volunteer program is very easy: If you’re looking for a purposeful journey, an authentic experience in Peru, and the chance to engage with real social projects, our application process is designed to be clear, fast, and hassle-free.

1. Requirements to Become a Volunteer

You only need:

  • To be of legal age
  • To have a valid passport (your international ID document)

2. Complete the Application Form

Fill out our online form, and that’s it! From that moment, our team personally guides you to help choose the program that best fits your interests:

  • Working with children
  • Educational support
  • Support for older adults
  • Projects with teenage mothers
  • Medical projects

3. Personalized Guidance: Before, During, and After

Once you apply, we send you a complete informational PDF, and if you wish, you can have online or WhatsApp interviews to answer all your questions: projects, dates, life in Peru, culture, accommodation, climate, safety, activities, and more.

4. Arrival Confirmation

Confirming your participation is just as simple: we only need a photo of your flight ticket.
With this, we can guarantee your arrival and begin organizing everything.

5. Final Preparations for Your Purposeful Journey

After confirming:

  • We advise you on what to bring and what not to bring
  • We help you choose between staying with a Peruvian host family or at the Volunteer House
  • We organize additional activities if you want to learn Spanish, dance, explore culture, or travel in Peru we design a complete volunteer and travel experience tailored just for you

6. Payment

  • We do not charge in advance; payment is made during the first few days after the volunteer’s arrival and settlement.
  • Prices are listed in dollars but can also be paid in soles or euros at the current exchange rate.
  • No additional charges are applied, so you won’t have to make any further payments to our organization during your volunteer stay. However, you will be responsible for your personal expenses (public transportation, phone calls, entertainment, extra water, excursions, medications, meals, etc.).

There are many ways to volunteer, at any time of the year, and across a wide range of fields. There are many communities to support and many ways to help—each of us has a lot to contribute.

  • You can volunteer at any time of the year, as we always need help, but it is recommended that you confirm your participation at least one week in advance.
  • The minimum time we recommend for volunteering is one month (4 weeks).
