This year, in 2011, we are taking a big step towards making this dream a reality. In addition to the already existing programs in the city of Huancayo and the Montaro Valley, we will be starting a new volunteer program in Lima. Above all else, these families need someone to help then to repair and rebuild their houses. The inhabitants of this town are very poor, and it is common for 5 people to share one bed while others sleep on the floor. Help us to help the families of Pucara; we need volunteers that have skills in carpentry, construction, etc. We also need donations to buy beds, stoves, clothes, and more. If you are able to help in any way, please contact us at bernabe@expandperu.org In Pucara, poor families are living in substandard conditions and are in need of many basic necessities.
