MISSION STATEMENT

(OUR MISSION IS) TO PROMOTE THE INTEGRAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN LIVING IN EXTREME POVERTY IN PERU, THROUGH ACTIONS IN THE INTEREST OF HUMAN BEINGS AND THEIR SURROUNDINGS.

OBJECTIVES:

For the children: To improve the quality of life of at-risk children and youth living in extreme poverty from all two of Peru’s geographical regions (coast, mountains and rainforest), and to reinforce their integral development.

1. To improve their health, education, and sociability through various volunteering programs.
2. To promote their personal development, through a process focusing on their social re-integration.

For the volunteers: To give young people from all over the world a chance to work as volunteer in a developing country, helping the poorest communities.

• To enable the volunteers’ personal and professional development through work that allows them to grow as individuals, using their skills and talents.
• To give the volunteers the opportunity to participate in and learn from a very rich and different culture, through a direct experience.
